Rob Gilhooly is an award-winning British writer and photographer who lives in Japan. His work has appeared in publications around the globe, including Newsweek, Time, the New York Times, International Herald Tribune, The Times, the Guardian, New Scientist and the Australian. He was formerly a staff reporter at the Japan Times. In 2004, he obtained an masters degree in journalism. He has also contributed to numerous TV documentaries and books. Yoshida's Dilemma is his first book.
